At 17 years-old, Haley Taylor Schlitz is a second year law student at SMU Dedman School of Law. In May of 2019, she graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Woman’s University. She is the youngest graduate in the history of TWU. Homeschooling has allowed her to advance through high-school at her own pace, graduating at age 13, ready for college. Haley is pursuing a career as an attorney where she hopes to advocate for greater access to gifted and talented programs for students of color and girls.
